When it comes to taking big steps in life, the timeline feels
different depending on where you live.
"After five years in London, I realized that building a future here
isn't easy. I'm currently living in a shared apartment, but
if I want a place of my own, costs are rising sharply, the city is
very expensive. Don't think it's all easy, because it's not. I
believe you can make your plans happen in Italy too; it might
be harder, but it's possible."

"We both grew in our jobs and reached higher positions; in Italy,
this wouldn't have been possible in such a short time... We also
managed to put money aside. However, you have to be careful;
everyone thinks Australia is El Dorado, but it isn't. The cost of
living is high, especially in the cities, and buying a house is
almost impossible. Plus, when our child was born, as Italians
we didn't have a health card... if there hadn't been two of us with
savings, it would have been really difficult."
